FAQs about Bedding

How do I choose the right king size bedding?

Start with the fabric: percale for warm sleepers, sateen for silky drape, flannel for cold months. Then confirm your mattress is king-sized (76×80 in, the US/Canadian standard). Build the set piece by piece or buy it all at once.

King size bedding is the largest bedding you'll buy. The Tencel quality shows more on a king because there's more fabric to judge.

What's included in king size bedding?

The full range: king fitted sheets, king flat sheets, king duvet covers, and king pillowcases. Each piece is sold individually, so you can build the exact set you want, match fabrics across the bed, or replace individual pieces as they wear.

Is a US king the same as a UK king for bedding?

No. A US/Canadian king mattress is 193×203 cm, while a UK king is 150×200 cm, and our king size bedding fits the US/Canadian standard. If you're shopping from the UK, check your mattress dimensions before ordering.

How do I pick between percale, sateen, flannel, and linen king size bedding?

Percale is crisp, cool, and breathable. Sateen is silky with a subtle sheen. Flannel is brushed cotton, soft and warm. Linen is textured, durable, and gets softer with every wash.

King size bedding covers a big bed, so the fabric choice shapes the entire room. Percale looks structured, sateen drapes dramatically, flannel feels warm to the touch, and linen brings a relaxed, lived-in character.

Where is Marshmellow king size bedding made?

Every piece is woven and finished in Portugal, in the same Lintexport mill we've been running since 1967. Sheets, covers, and pillowcases all come from the same cotton, the same looms, and the same finishing line.

How do I care for king size bedding?

Wash warm (30-40°C) with mild detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener, since softener coats the fibres and reduces breathability. Tumble dry low or line dry.

King-size pieces are heavier when wet, so check your machine's drum capacity before loading a full set.

Can I mix and match king size bedding pieces?

Yes, and we encourage it. Buy percale sheets with a sateen duvet cover, mix solid pillowcases with a striped cover, or swap flannel in for winter months only. Every piece is sold individually so your bed can change with the season.

Luxury King Size Bedding

King size bedding is every piece the biggest bed in the house needs.

Sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases. The fitted below, the flat in the middle, the cover on top. All of it in the same cotton, from the same loom, finished to the same standard. That consistency is what makes a bed feel put together.

Ours is made in Portugal, since 1967. Percale for warm sleepers. Sateen for the hotel drape. Flannel for cold months. Linen for the lived-in look. King size bedding in every fabric and every piece, sold individually so you build exactly what the bed wants.

Other king size bedding sets are bundled to a price. Ours are built to a standard. Pick the pieces you need, match the fabrics you like, swap the season when it changes.

Made in Portugal, since 1967. Kit out the king.
