A €55 bath towel used three times a week for ten years costs under four cents each time you dry off.
The sets people actually buy
We did not invent these — they are the four combinations that repeat most across every order we have shipped since 2023.

The Most Loved — Pink
2 bath towels, 2 hand towels. The everyday pair for two people.
Pink is our best-selling heavyweight of all time, and the Pink bath towel is the single most-sold piece in the range.

His and hers — Pink & Blue
A bath and a hand towel in each colour. One each, no arguing.
Buying two colours at once is the most common heavyweight order, and Pink with Blue is the pairing we see most.

The wrap — Dark Green
2 bath sheets, 2 bath towels. For people who prefer to wrap rather than dry.
Dark Green is our third best-seller — bought to be used, not admired.

The full bathroom — Brown & Snow
2 bath, 2 hand, 2 guest, 2 face across both colours. The whole room, done once.
How our largest orders are actually built: a darker colour for the family, a lighter one for guests.

Our mill, Portugal
Long-staple organic cotton
Long fibres twist into stronger, smoother yarn that does not shed or pill — the difference between a towel that thins in a year and one still dense after a decade.
Zero-twist pile
The loops are left barely twisted, so they stand open and drink water on contact. Tightly twisted yarn is cheaper to weave and worse at the one job a towel has.
Woven in our own mill
Spun, dyed, woven and hemmed in Portugal since 1967 — the same mill that supplies hotels. Double-stitched hems and a woven border that keeps its shape.
What 700 grams actually buys you
GSM is grams per square metre — the honest measure of how much cotton is in a towel. Supermarket towels sit around 300–400. Ours sit at 700, nearly double the yarn in the same piece of cloth.
You feel it three ways: heavier to lift, deep enough that your hand sinks in, and it holds far more water before it stops working. One bath sheet dries two people.
Pick your colourHeavyweight or midweight?
Both are organic cotton from the same mill. The only real question is your bathroom.
| Heavyweight 700 | Midweight 550 | |
|---|---|---|
| Feel | Deep, enveloping | Plush but light |
| Drying time | Slower | Fast |
| Best for | Guest bathrooms, weekends, heated rails | Daily use, small flats, family bathrooms |
| Bath towel | €55 | €37 |
If it is the towel you reach for every morning in a flat without much air, take the midweight. If you want the one that makes a Sunday feel like a hotel, this is it.
Questions worth asking
Will a 700 GSM towel take forever to dry?
It takes longer than a midweight — there is more cotton holding more water, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. On a heated rail or in a bathroom with a window it is a non-issue. In a small interior bathroom, buy the midweight instead.
Why does it feel stiff at first?
Because there is no softener on it. Silicone finishes feel wonderful in the shop and then wash out, leaving fibres that repel water. Ours are finished bare: wash once before first use, and it softens with every wash from there.
Which size do I actually need?
Bath towel 70 × 140 cm is the everyday standard and our best seller by a distance. Bath sheet 100 × 150 cm is for wrapping rather than drying — take it if you are taller than about 1.75 m or simply prefer more cloth.
Which colour should I choose?
Pink and Snow are far and away the two most bought, followed by Dark Green. Snow is the one people pick for guest bathrooms; Pink and Dark Green are chosen for daily use. Most people buy two colours at once.
Will the colours last?
Yarn-dyed before weaving, so the colour is through the fibre rather than on the surface. Wash at 40°, no bleach, no softener. Wash new darks separately the first time.
Is this a good gift?
It is the one people would not buy for themselves, which is what makes it land. The Most Loved set covers a housewarming; the full bathroom is a wedding present. Everything arrives in Marshmellow packaging.
