Our robes come in S, M, L, and XL, sized to fit comfortably over pyjamas or skin. If you like room to move, size up. The fit should feel like a coat you can sit down in.

Most high-street robes use light terry that loses its loft after twenty washes. Luxury bathrobe brands use heavier terry, longer-staple cotton, and proper double-stitching at the seams. The real test is whether the robe is still good in five years.

Ours, made in Portugal since 1967, are still good after twenty.

Every Marshmellow robe is woven and finished in Portugal, in the same Lintexport mill we've been running since 1967. That heritage is why the terry holds its loft and the seams stay straight for years.

Wash warm (40°C) with mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener, since it kills the loft of terry cotton. Tumble dry on low to fluff the fibres back up.

Line drying alone tends to leave terry stiff. A short tumble at the end of the cycle solves that.
